    1. Nylon12, we can have pretty stiff winds here - I believe the stiff windstorm we had back in December set the stage for the epic tree fall we had from the snowstorm this year. That said, most Springs and Summers is is a very gentle breeze, much like you hear in the video.

The stiffest wind I ever had was in Cork, Ireland, where it was literally so windy the raindrops blew sideways right under the umbrella or hood you had.

  2. Breezy = Homesick Lubbock county wind averages 12 mph every day. At least when I lived there. It was your constant companion.

    1. STxAR - Here is is not nearly so strong, but is often enough present that its absence is noticed.

  4. Ah yes, the wind. Pretty much constant off the Atlantic, sometimes a gentle breeze, sometimes a roaring gale.

    1. Sarge, it is fairly consistent here as well, but usually just enough to move the trees, seldom a full blown wind. If the breeze is God walking through the trees, a strong wind is God storming through them.

    1. Ed, based on your comment I am trying to decide if I tolerate hot winds or cold winds better. Turns out, neither is the case.
