Then I found that we have more forested land now than 200 years ago. Amazing.

STxAR, I have been to parts of Georgia where they grow the pulpwood for paper. Impressive replants.
DeleteOddly enough, it often feels as if those who are most vocal about environmental concerns are never willing to give credit for any progress.
