Perhaps not the usual New Year's quote, but given the past year and what the New Year might actually bring, perhaps the most fitting quote for the season.
I have never tried Half Dome. We were somewhat nearby at Hetch Hetchy last year, but it is not something I have felt the need to try. I have found I like multi-day hikes more.
Also, given my experience with Altitude sickness last year, I have no idea if I would actually make it at this point.
Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
Good Quote.
ReplyDeleteIt really is, Michael. Happy New Year!
DeleteGreat saying, TB. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThank you Leigh! Happy New Year!
DeleteI guess as the resident optimist, you know which path I have chosen for myself!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year TB!
I do Ed! Happy New Year!
DeleteHappy New Year TRB one and all. Good quote - attitude and perspective count for most of our happiness. Focus more on what you have then what you lack.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
DeleteMy perspective is not always what it should be. Just something else to diligently work on in the coming year. And we indeed have more than enough.
Huh.......seems to be the social media equivalent of "glass half full, glass half empty" from how long ago? Happy New Year to you and yours TB!
ReplyDeleteIt kind of is, Nylon12. Happy New Year to you as well!
DeleteHey, its half rock. I've been there on top of it. Last century.
ReplyDeleteHeltau
