Kev, it seems magnified where I here at my parents' house as there is really no other urban light. It makes a little more sense to me now when I read of doing things by the full moon - with a little care, you easily could do a great deal.
I'm no poet, but this excited me as this week I noticed the moon shining in through an east facing window one night (or was it morning)? I don't remember. I just know it was gorgeous and I wondered how often it does that, and would I see it again sometime? But it's been cloudy ever since. Did I too easily let the February moon pass. At least I saw it. And took notice of its beauty.
Becki, it certainly seems intensely bright last night, and tonight as well. Certainly it is not something I pay near as much attention to at New Home, as the urban light pollution tends to drown it out.
Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
Brittle snowflakes fall

Last night I think I could have read a book outside it was so bright. Storm blowing in tonight though.

DeleteIt certainly seemed like the sun shining in my window earlier this week!
ReplyDeleteIn the cloudless night
The full moon is a beacon,
Disrupting my sleep
Kelly, it was amazingly bright.
DeleteConfused, I wander
to the window seeking clouds
but see only stars.
Windsong and moonlight
ReplyDeletetrees dancing with stark rapture
tickling the sky.
I often wonder
Deleteif the trees can sense moonlight
as they do sunlight
