Autumn has arrived.

  1. No such thing this far north. But I have enjoyed my culinary experiences with the sweet potato on my southern journeys.

    1. Ed, oddly enough I did not like them at all growing up but have come to appreciate them, mostly just heated and then with a little butter and salt. I only started growing them last year, mostly on a lark. They are actually rather successful in our current climate.

  2. Blooms are a prized spectacle up here. They don't last long, and are gone far too soon...

    1. Glen, between The Stupid Hot and Stupid Cold Seasons here, there are about 2-4 weeks where all of our blooms get packed in. Which is great, except for the other ten months of the year...

  4. Oh how nice! I hope you get a lot of them! All my fall harvest froze a few weeks ago and died, boo hoo..I'll try to plant things earlier next year if I have the chance!

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
