Filler

So, I had the grand, glorious post all planned for today.  Sadly events got away from me during the latter course of the week.

Spring has sort of sprung here in New Home 3.0. I am reliably informed by my coworkers that there is a version of "fake Spring", which lasts for a couple of days or a week and the plunge back into End of Winter 2.0.

But the trees are blooming and flowers are popping out all over, so all of the growing things think it is Spring, even if the weather itself is trying to lie to the humans.

Last Wednesday represents the last of the "pre-programmed" posts I had put in place.  It was a helpful effort; it is a little odd to get back into the habit of daily writing as such.  Good, but odd.

My sister and brother-in-law The Outdoorsman are in town this weekend for a visit.  As it turns out, it was almost at the end of our stay in New Home 2.0 that they were able to come out.  We are a great deal closer; hopefully this will be the first of many visits.

Hard to believe that all of this beauty also portends the end of the first quarter of the year.  Three months have slipped past - I have no idea where they went.

    1. Nylon12, do not let this pictures lure you in. It is still coldish and rainy for the next week or so, but we get back to the 70's next weekend. The inexorable march to Spring has commenced.

Spring is coming and it's going out like a lion in our part. I see a lot of greenery, dandelions and blooming trees as we have had 70/80 degree weather here.
But serve storms for tomorrow with high winds and large hail. So, hunkering down is going to be my Sunday but hope you have great fun with family.

    1. Unk - Best of luck tomorrow!

It was a great day today. Weather co-operated perfectly.

Sadly, I think rain for the next few days - but better weather is for sure on the way.

  3. Although not as far along, I finally declared spring here for good and hooked up all the garden hoses after planting a second third of our garden. There are a lot of heavily budded trees everywhere though and the bluebirds are battling it out with the sparrows over bird house supremacy so it can't go back to being below freezing again even if our traditional average last frost is still two weeks away.

    1. Ed, it is odd how much I look the natural world to declare Spring, like you do.

I envy you the garden this year. I think I can squeeze another planter on the small balcony we have.
