Back From The Far Abroad, Cambodia/Vietnam Edition

Dear Friends,

As you are reading this I am either 1) Sleeping; or 2) Doing laundry.

Cambodia and Vietnam were amazing.  I do not know what I expected, but I did not expect this.  As I have 1900 pictures and videos to digest, it may take some time (and sleep) to digest it all.  I offer you this as a very basic taste.

Merlion, Singapore

Royal Palace, Phnom Penh Cambodia

Bayon Temple, Siam Rep, Cambodia

Angkor Wat - Siam Rep, Cambodia

Sampan Ride, Mekong Delta, Vietnam

 Saigon, Vietnam

Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi An, Vietnam

Imperial Citadel and City, Hue, Vietnam

Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue, Vietnam

Lăng Tự Đức, Hue, Vietnam

Lăng Khải Định, Hue, Vietnam

 Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Traditional Water Puppets, Ha Noi, Vietnam

  1. Does "WOW" say it right? (It definitely looks like a wow of a trip!)

    1. Leigh, WOW is not inappropriate. Honestly, I had very little idea of what to expect. What I found was wonderful, but unexpectedly so.

Yowsa TB, those are some images. Only 1900 photos/vids? Those are rookie numbers, gotta pump those numbers up........:)

    1. Nylon12 - you laugh, but I checked. When I went to Costa Rica in 2021, I took 351 pictures. It has escalated every trip since. At this point, I really do take most of them so I can use them to post here.

  3. Assuming you introduce a new series on this trip that averages five pictures a post, once a week, I have 7.3 years worth of posts to look forward too. Can't wait!

    1. Ed, I suspect it will not be 7.3 years - I think even I would run out things to say - but given that I am largely now out of vacation this year and the tentative trip for next year does not seem likely until the Autumn, there will be plenty of writing to be done.

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
