None can tell us when this is over. We decide when it is done, and until then, it is our absolute duty to fight and fight and fight and fight. No matter the odds we fight, no matter the names they call us, and the shame they throw at us, we fight. Never second guess yourselves, the fight is our calling, our destiny.
We cannot, Just So. And therefore, it is our duty to fight until victory or we are called home.
Oddly enough, I am finding - nay, be reminded - that shame and name calling can only affect us if we allow them to. If we ignore and disregard them, they become phantoms.
Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
Interesting statement. Certainly true.
ReplyDeleteAnd we keep fighting.
Linda, there are many versions of this on the InterWeb. This one struck me because 1) It has a Viking; and 2) It has axes.
DeleteNot even close to giving up!

Every day, Hobo. Every single day. I need to read this every single day and remind myself.
