That is a LOT of digging, especially with no steel tools and using less hardy materials. Can't remember if you mentioned what kind of stone is there TB.

I can't help but wonder how long it took them to make these. Considering how extensive the complex is, it's truly amazing.

ReplyDeleteNylon12, I believe this area has a gair amount of "light" lava stone. I did not actually try to cut into it, of course, but it looked pretty light.
