I like it when I do not have anything to do and can just sit inside and read or write and look outside at the rain. Not so much when I have something do - or have to drive in it.
Rain...love standing in it when it's a warm summer storm, hands held high above me and face upturned....in winter when it comes at you horizontally stinging your face it still feels good, makes me feel alive. John
Where I grew up we only got rain in the winter (November -March) and it was inevitable a cold, winter rain. Here in New Home we can get rain throughout the year, not as often the steady rain of a long winter's storm but the heavy downpour of a summer's shower sweeping down from the Plains, along with a fabulous thunder and lightning show. It's very different but equally desirable.
Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!

I always hate rain. I know it's stupid because without it everything dies but it always seems to come at a bad time for me....
ReplyDeleteYes. It's all about me :)
