After the night market, we headed out again in our Tuk-Tuk.
Num Pang, the Cambodian equivalent of Banh Mi. Delicious.
A variety of meat related dishes:
For dessert, we drove to what was essentially an older couple at the side of a rather busy road. The old man was scraping out coconut meat from husks. His wife would stuff them in a roll and pour sweetened coconut milk over them. This may have been the best thing I had while I was there.
After our meal (we were quite full), one more after dinner drink.
After reading this post I had to start breakfast quick TB......:)
ReplyDeleteHow is the smell there? I ask because in my travels to the Philippines 20 years ago, the smell of automobile exhaust was quite overwhelming where ever I went. However, the the last few trips those smells have been decreasing dramatically as the tricycles (their version of the tuk tuk) have decreased in number and are being replaced with more modern vehicles. The big drawback however, is that congestion has increased dramatically and it now takes me two or three times longer to go anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI'm unfortunately a foodie and can eat myself across any country with snacks at roadside vendors between sit down meals. I so enjoy the roadside concoctions that they can come up with using their local ingredients.
