As photographs go, these are a good record and have good composition, but it's interesting that they don't have the aesthetic appeal of, say, photos from the ranch.
Leigh, it is in that sense very much a "manufactured landscape". a hundred years ago this likely would have only been fields and not had the buildings (obviously), but not the steam either.

Yah, the grass around here was frozen for over a week, only climbed above 32 degrees yesterday. Downtown sports arena has the annual ice fishing/winter sports show going this weekend.

ReplyDeleteNylon12, true for form here in New Home 2.0 we are back to rain today. The frost is gone, the cold (40- 45 F) remains.
