A And J At Home

The Ravishing Mrs. TB is currently staying with her mother as she has had her second knee surgery (which is going splendidly).  Fortunately for me, I have roommates to come home to in her absence:

You may wonder about A's shaved side.  He had a growth that had to be removed.

Why fill a bookshelf with books when a cat needs a place to read?

Well that's good news on the surgery front and the critters seem to have their territories staked out Hmmmm........cat perch/lookout or more books? That's one less choice you had to make TB.....:)

    1. Nylon12, A has occasionally gone into J's cage. She is having none of it.

No choice on the cat perch, I think. Which is fine: I need to at least stop acquiring so many books, so this makes a good excuse.

  2. I love having animals as pets but where I live now, the only option if I were to leave on vacation is to put them in the kennel IF they have an opening. I've heard from others that they are completely full often during the summer months. Is that where your critters go when you're on vacation?

    1. Ed, when we were in New Home, we boarded the rabbits with a friend from the shelter. Poppy the Brave went to stay with her dog playdate friends. A The Cat either went to a kennel (not happy for him) or stayed at home and someone came by.

Currently, we have a pet sitter who comes by when we are gone for more than a day or so. It has added to the cost of vacation, to be sure. That said, the cost of the pet sitting is more than compensated for by the bulk of the time we are home and they are here.

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
