It does seem backwards, does it not Rain? But once I thought about it, it made sense. We know when fiction is completely outside the realm of possibility, like King Arthur having a lightsaber or a super computer that runs on air, because in our minds fiction has a set of laws, even if they are imaginary. Truth is treated quite differently.
It is indeed, Linda. Once the concept of absolute truth was jettisoned, it simply became another term to be used an played with as circumstances required.
Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
That is very thought provoking!
