I must beg to differ. They're not flightless, just a different medium. If you've ever seen video of penguins under water, they soar, swoop, and cavort about with a grace that ballet dancers can only dream of.
Fair Greg - Although I suppose technically, we refer to no other animal that works in a water medium as being in flight - except flying fish I suppose, when they are actually above the water.
