A Few Words From...Bruce Lee

“Seriously, if you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it'll spread to the rest of your life. It'll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level.”

- Bruce Lee

  1. Such wise words and ones that I have made a note of. It is so easy to keep doing less and less as one gets older, making the excuse that various aches and pains make the effort of doing certain things too hard, using the words 'I'm too old' to reduce what can be done, and so one starts going backwards with one's self, becoming more and more lethargic making the aches and pains get worse as one leans on them as a reason not to do.

  2. Oh, this pleases me so much Vera. You have just made my entire week.

And yes, I struggle with the same thing. But even within my own age and condition, there is more that I can do that what I am doing. And my Sensei is always challenging me to "Level Up". There is never a time we cannot do something.

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
