New Home 2.0 has a lovely Japanese Garden - so the cherry and plum blossoms were not the only beauty this past weekend.

Lovely camillia, you could grow tea. The koi were not coy. Paperbark maple in photo number 4.

    1. The camillias are just starting to bloom. We had come out the previous weekend as well, but the koi were not quite as visible.

Thanks for the tree recognition. There are all sorts of trees I do not recognize here.

Nice! Color, other than white TB. Neighbors had a koi pond for two summers.....not big enough nor deep enough....was a buffet for the neighborhood racoons........ :)

    1. My Father in Law The Master Sergeant had a koi pond with the same issue, Nylon12.

The green is the stunning thing to me. Very different from New Home.

  3. It is lovely.
Anonymous nailed the koi/coy pun. Well done.
We had outdoor fish for a few years, but as Nylon12 said it ended up being a buffet and we stopped stocking it.

    1. John, it is a very well put together garden.

They must have some kind of anti-theft device in place, given the size of some of those fish.

  4. What a beautiful garden. I could spend hours there, just contemplating the eternal.

    1. Ed, The Ravishing Mrs. TB does as well, and it is a thing that I have picked up on from her. It is always interesting to see how they differ from climate to climate.
