Dead Tree Walking

One of the most amazing of the trees we saw was almost as we ended the hike.

Closer up, it did look like a dead tree walking!

    1. I think you are right STxAR, although likely I would keep it just for the novelty value.

    1. Ed, it is - but I had to have it pointed out to me by The Outdoorsman. I would have totally missed it.

  5. It is Groot! Glad you got that closer photo, TB. I didn't see it at first. Definitely a tree person. :)
You all be safe and God bless.

    1. John, this makes precisely 100% more personal direct evidence with Ents than any other cryptozoological animal for me.

  7. I'm hopelessly behind, TB, though I know there are some posts here I really do hope to read. I wonder if I comment on an older post, will you readily see the comment? Do all unapproved comments sit at the top I wonder, or do they hang with their respective posts way down below. I'll try and you see. This broken tree is terrific!

    1. Becki, in point of fact the I do see the comments as they roll in chronologically so yes, they do come right to the top!

The broken tree is fantastic - one of those random occurrences of Nature that make for great fun.

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
