That would be quite the place to visit at Christmas time.

    1. Nylon12, I surely imagine that it would be (although perhaps a bit cold to my tastes).

  2. I sort of remember seeing huge lily pads when we were there last.
I mean really, really, huge lily pads.
    Thank you for the photos.

    1. John, the Lilly pads are still there, although I did not get a picture. And you are quite welcome - it is a joy to share.

  4. Enjoying the vacations pics, TB. I'm curious what that structure/sculpture is made of in the middle of the long room in the second picture (if you know). It looks fascinating.

  5. You are quite welcome Becki.

The sculpture is actually part of a light show/temporary exhibit, the same as the lighted pictures in the last post. In this case, they are CD/DVDs mounted on stands. At night, they use lights and sound to create images like a fish pond.

    2. Becki, I was not convinced during the day, but at night it actually worked really well.

  6. I’ve always dreamed of owning a house with an attached greenhouse like that.

    1. Ed, it was amazing. The orchid collection was especially fine, as were the water features.

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
