We are in drought mode down here in south Texas. Green sure does look nice - congratulations on your good fortune to receive it.

    1. I think overall we may be in drought mode as well - although hopefully a bit less with this rain (it is raining again this morning as I type). Still, it will definitely help and is quite welcome.

  2. I always love it when green becomes the predominant color again.

  3. That much green and blue looks really, really good. Needed shots like that since it's still so brown and drab skies here.

    1. Nylon12, glad I could help. To be honest, we will be drab and brown by June at the latest and it will not become like this again until well into November.

    1. Linda, almost every day is a blessed day here. Some just seem more blessed than others.

  5. Lovely, lovely views! I'm not sure I could live in a big city and be deprived of scenery like this.

    1. Kelly, it becomes more and more of a stretch every time I come up here. One day I will just come up and not go back down.

    1. It is John. I threaten more and more to just head up the hill one day and not come down.

    1. Thank you Leigh! It was a pretty spectacular day for photos (in my case, dumb luck). I have these to remind me when we get to the dead brown of August.
