102 F

Summer's Grinding Heat
causes me to wonder if
Winter's but a dream.

  1. And I was complaining about 98F.... and one thing for sure, I'm not ready for winter (at least not yet) ;^)

But maybe a hammock out there between some trees out on the ranch would be a nice way to beat the heat!

    Stay cool (and hydrated!)

ps... tell Mrs. TB that I'm looking forward to tales of soap making adventures! :-)

    1. Hobo, we are in the mid 90's now and scheduled to be that way for the rest of the week - not ideal, but at least one can occasionally go out. Shade and a breeze (we can get both) make things a bit more bearable.

If there is soap to be made, I bet one of my daughters will be the one to try. That is not Mrs. TB's cup of tea.

  2. We hit 106* on Saturday and Sunday here in the Wild, Wild West. Par for the course out here...

    1. Pete, we were supposed to reach 105 F this week but "bottomed" out. I say that - I have been as high as 111 F, and it was nothing but stay inside in the cool dark house.

  3. That's a great haiku, but permit me to NOT think of winter yet TB? ;)

    1. Rain, it is always easier for me to think of the opposite season when I am not in it. In Winter, of course, I will be thinking of summer...

Comments are welcome (and necessary, for good conversation). If you could take the time to be kind and not practice profanity, it would be appreciated. Thanks for posting!
