My dad was one generation removed from his Vermont heritage, and embodied their mantra. "Use it up; wear it out; make it do, or do without."
ReplyDeleteReverend, my maternal grandmother and her sisters all grew up in gold mine camps and during the Depression. They embodied this as well.
