The Cowardly Man

  1. Interesting quote TB...what do you think of that? I'm someone who avoids all conflict but I don't see myself as cowardly...I'm not saying that because I'm offended btw, just mentioning it. I feel the most peace when I feel no conflict with other humans. Conflict within though, that's another thing!

  2. I think it works on multiple levels. Keep in mind that The Havamal was written for a culture of war and raiding. But I think it can also be applied to those decisions we should make but try to avoid or the situation we try to completely turn away from. It never resolves the issue itself, but it can often sit on our mind for what we should have done for a very long time.
