I don't usually see any bats until Late May around here. There are some that live here year round but they are in caves and pretty far from us. We only get the little brown migratory ones in the Summer.
They seem early to me as well Preppy. We have the migratory bats as well that live mostly under bridges and underpasses during the summer. Just seems a bit early for them, but perhaps that is because we have had a relatively mild winter.
